Welcome to ILLiad, the SCAD Libraries system for requesting Interlibrary Loan (ILL) materials and eLearning Ship to Home services. This system enables current SCAD students, faculty, and staff to place, track, and keep a history of ILL and/or Ship to Home requests. An ILLiad account allows you to monitor the status of your requests, to renew items, to view usage history and to update contact and delivery information when needed.

Requesting Materials

• Check the library catalog before submitting; materials owned by SCAD cannot be requested through Interlibrary Loan
• There is no charge for Interlibrary Loan unless the cost to obtain an item exceeds $20
• Plan ahead; it may take two to four weeks for requested materials to arrive
• Current textbooks cannot be requested through Interlibrary Loan
• Materials may not be requested on behalf of others
• Materials may not be placed on course reserves
